What the NMKAC is all about...

About | Manga? Anime? | Past News Letters | Past Layouts

The Northampton and Milton Keynes Anime Club was established online on Friday 30th May 2003 at 10 o'clock at night. The development of the NMKAC was helped by friends, family, people at Northampton High School and Dragon the President of the LAC London Anime Club who helped get the website online and running. And of course, the NMKAC members themselves.
The NMKAC has been a success over the last year, welcoming nine new members, which brings us to fifteen members, some of whom we have actualy met and all are very nice. Our committee, coincidently, has also grown from two to five members. We have welcome DeathRose-San as our Advertising Manager, Louise-San our copyrighter and most recently Lo-Chan, our treasurer. The website has gone through updates and four layouts.
Now our club aims to give Anime and Manga (Japanese animation and comics i.e. Pokemon) fans alike the chance to meet and talk together. The NMKAC not only organise the usual club meetings though. The unique thing about the NMKAC is that we also go on special trips, such as shopping for animation in centre:mk, and a more adventurous example would be one of our very first trips-a journey to Asahiya Shoten bookstore in London. The NMKAC also offers online resources to all Anime fans.
We hope for the best for the NMKAC! Live on NMKAC!
