Overall Review on Whole CD
I thought this was one of the best buys I have found! It is
excellant! Yoko Kanno has really put her back into the music for Escaflowne,
with an operatic and classical score! I personaly think that she is the new
Mozart for Anime! She has some real talent there and it takes quite a bit
to compose a whole score for a whole orchestra (yes, they used a real orchestra!)
and her piano playing is wonderful! One of my favourite instruments in the
CD, apart from the piano, is the Chinese flute, adds a really suttle touch
to some of the music.
Colors (Instrumental Track)
I really like this track, as it has a lovely calm beginging
to it, then goes into a really cool tune.

Bird Song
You can do Tai Chi (Chinese martial art) to this! It is a very
Chinese track (especialy when it uses the Chinese flute!) and is soothing
and calm.

Sora
(Vocal Track)
If you would like to find out the meaning of Sora, please go
to the Vocbulary page.
This is my favourite track, as it has a smooth, placid tune
to it, and Sora (also a character) can sing really well and the piano run
throughout it is beautiful.

Sora's Folktale (Vocal Track)
Another interpretation of Sora (there is an operatic one as
well-I think it is in "First Vision"-theme track for Escaflowne.
Also a placid and smooth tune with a lovely synthisized echo at the back.

Tree of Hearts (Instrumental Track)
A lovely piano track accompanied with a string selection from
the Warsaw Symphonic Orchestra. I think the end of it is slightly cute off
though, I personaly think they should have repeated the piano introduction
at the begining.

Call Your Name-English Version (Vocal Track)
A duet with Sora and Hitomi, this is excellent. I like the meaning
of the song aswell, about how two people still have each other in a lonely
place. I think Hitomi's voice is the best on this track.
