This movie uses digital animation, the same sort that was used in the recent Treasure Planet movie. The 2D and 3D animation blend well together and make for some fantastic backgrounds, vast and detailed views. The animation is also very fluid, which is good considering this movie is almost all action. The action scence, especially the fight scenes, actually remind me of a Hong Kong movie, I'm not really sure why. Probably the camera angles and martial arts moves. The animation also makes the most of Yu's athletic abilities as he bounds around the screen like a gymnast or acrobat.

The music is the usual background stuff, I didn't notice a theme song at all, and I did notice there seemed to be Turkish influences when Yu arrived in Turkey, but it was more of a Turkish twist along with a more modern beat, perhaps there were dance or hip-hop influences as well?

I liked Yu's hair, it was very spiky, and the character designs overall were well done but, of course, the scientists all had glasses. I really liked the animation for this movie, the use of digital animation was great and really made the backgrounds and action something to see. It is an action movie, the plot is really there to let you see things, and people, get battered and blown to bits, but it is worth seeing because purely because of the visuals and don't worry, the plot isn't terrible and the characters are fleshed out enough.
